Our story began with a meeting inside Catalyst Sound Studios, a sacred, project-based music production temple that Victor (Brown Lotus) built with his own hands while working as a third-generation metalsmith. The space was born from devotion: a place to deepen his musicality and gather kindred artists in creative communion.

At the time, Buddha Mei was immersed in college studies in psychology and media, grounded in a professionally trained musical background that had long shaped her artistic voice. Victor, devoted to music as both passion and practice, had already begun building the world that would soon bring our paths together. What unfolded upon our meeting was an immediate musical resonance, a profound love, and the recognition of a shared path. The chemistry between us became the catalyst for what is now our debut album, ALIGNMENT, and the ever-evolving body of work that continues to grow from it.

In devotion to what we were creating, we made the conscious decision to forgo the expected routes such as traditional schooling, day jobs, and the safety of the prescribed path, choosing instead to follow the deeper calling unfolding before us. This was not an act of departure, but one of alignment. Even then, we sensed this work would expand far beyond our original imagining. Guided by inner knowing, we entered a spiritual journey rooted in discipline, surrender, and creative service. During this time, Buddha Mei felt called to deepen her relationship with sound not only as an art form, but as a modality for healing, later becoming a Certified Sound Practitioner through the International Sound Therapy Association. What began as music continued to reveal itself as sacred ceremonial service.

As transcendentalists, we draw inspiration from temples, churches, homes of worship, and sacred spaces across traditions, embracing the understanding that music itself is a sanctuary. We do not confine ourselves to genre; rather, we move through sound as a living landscape, trusting its power to guide us inward. When we create, our intention is to enter what we call the temple of the soul, building sonic experiences that invite others to meet themselves there. Blending ethereal vocals, live instrumentation, meditative frequencies, and expansive production, our work is guided by the belief that music can transport us beyond the surface of listening and into higher realms of awakening.

Our creative practice extends beyond sound. We recently released a documentary honoring a three-part body jewelry piece that we hand-forged as a healing extension of our music, a physical embodiment of the frequencies we create, where adornment, ritual, and vibration become one continuous artistic offering.
